The Classroom Dream {came to pass the next day} ~ A Sheryl York Dream

 I had a dream several years ago that was so amazing. Why? Because I woke up knowing exactly what the Lord was telling me, and I also somehow knew that it was going to come to pass the very next day.




BACK STORY

Several years prior to the dream, my husband and I had been involved in an online ministry that did dream interpretation. Back in those days, there was no YouTube or social media, but we did have chat rooms and forums that we used to minister online. Our ministry was called Caves of Obadiah because we were calling the prophets and prophetic voices to come out of the caves.

Sadly, something happened, and one of my dearest friends, a woman who was a spiritual mother and mentor, got offended at us and walked away from our ministry. It was quite devastating as I saw her as a mentor and friend, and when she walked away, it was difficult, but I continued on. I took the forums to a place where they weren't just a place to post but an online school of sorts, where I was teaching others all around the globe how to interpret dreams. People would send in dreams, and then I would post them in a forum, and then during the days or weeks ahead, the students would prayerfully consider the dream, seeking God's interpretation. Once they received something, they would post to the dream, and I would go over it myself to see if they were sharing from the Spirit or just something off the top of their head. For some, interpretation comes easily and even naturally, but for others, we had to give them grace as they learned and grew.

THE DREAM

One night, I had a dream that I was walking up the sidewalk to my classroom, where I knew my students would be waiting, and my old friend Pat was there waiting outside my door. When I saw her, I was very happy. I hadn't seen her in a long time and missed her terribly. She asked if she could come in and look around and possibly even meet a few of my students. Of course, I said yes. This woman had been a huge blessing in my life and a great mentor to both my husband and me. I had spoken of her many times, and it was amazing to be able to finally introduce her to them. 
Then I woke up.

Once I woke up, I knew immediately what the dream meant. My former mentor, who had walked away from us and our ministry years prior, was going to be coming to my website, which would lead her to the forums and to my dream interpretation school and the students. 

Very early that morning, I went to the forums and shared the dream and then also my interpretation, asking the students to greet her in writing in the forums. I just knew she would be there, and I said I was certain that she would within the next few days, so I wanted them all to share with her how much they appreciated all that she'd sown into my life, because of her, I was now teaching and mentoring all of them. Within a few hours, there were countless posts to my mentor Pat. This was an amazing teaching for the students, not only in dreams or interpretation, but to show that God can even put in your spirit the timing of something through a dream. I never once doubted she'd be there, and the students knew this.

IT CAME TO PASS

Later that evening, I received a personal letter from her saying that she'd been to my website and then decided to check in on the forums. She was so blessed by what I had continued to do even after we'd fallen away from each other. She said she fell to tears when she saw my dream because she hadn't even been thinking of going to my website, and that morning God told her to go ahead and check it out. Her mind was totally blown that God told me where she would be and what she'd be doing before she even knew, and that I so believed what He said in my dream that I had my students post lovely greetings to her.

The dream came to pass the very next day, as I knew was going to happen. The Lord had shown me that my former Mentor and dear friend was coming to see me at my classroom and wanted to come in and meet the students. He showed it to me as if it were brick and mortar, but in reality, I knew it was spiritual, and exactly what He said would happen did. She came to my website/forums (classroom) and was able to meet my students (through their greetings to her). Even they knew she was coming to visit before she did. God is amazing, and if we are listening, He is still speaking to us as if He were walking with us in the cool of the day.

  My husband was working as a Janitor in a Hospital, and of course, he had to go by and into the rooms to clean up. A man came in in very bad shape by ambulance.     The Man in White...     Many years ago, when my husband and I were still just dating, we had a disagreement, and I really thought it was over.
